A Little History

Sage Creek Baptist was formed with a core group of believers seeking to form an independent Baptist church that would be fundamental in its doctrines and conservative in its practices.  The charter members joined together in 1982, and the work of this ministry began. The church was originally formed with the name New Testament Baptist Church, which it later changed to Sage Creek Baptist Church.

The current worship facility was constructed, in a large part, by the early church members.  In fact, much of the lumber that was used in construction was taken from the very property on which the church is located. The lumber was harvested from the property, hauled to a nearby mill, brought back and nailed in place by hardworking men and women that held a vision for the future God honoring ministry of Sage Creek Baptist Church.
